This could become addictive

This is my second flower piece done using Photoshop. It is from a photo of a clematis in my garden. This one is also going to the Little Gems project.



No update on the chimney sweep yet. I have left a message on his mobile and his landline but he has not got back to me - does anyone know any small undernourished boys!!

    Oh Maggi, this clematis piece is just fantastic - I love it. The stitching you have used really brings out the character of the flower, if you know what I mean. I don't know any small undernourished boys, the only ones I know, all have hearty appetites, but I do have one grandson who is very tall and very slim - would he do?!

    I agree with you about 'illtreating' books Maggi. It took me a long time before I could bring myself to 'deface' one. I made sure it was one which no-one wanted and even the Charity Shop was going to throw it out. It is such fun altering a book that now I have no qualms, but still make sure it is one destined for the scrap heap unless I rescue it.

    This is truly wonderful stitching. I have a very skinny boy who eats non- stop, might be a bit expensive to send over though.

    Awesome art work Maggie! I showed your embellished ATC with the whole embellish group's ATCs to some quilters today. They loved your work.     Just got in to find your gorgeous ATC waiting for me. Anything to do with Celtic design or fossils is right up my street and the more I look at it, the more I see. I love the mysterious colours that glimmer in the depths of all that lovely texture. Thankyou so much. Has the chimney sweep been yet. I hesitate to suggest you try my grandmother's method of shoving a holly branch up the chimney and jiggling it about. She did it once while the fire was alight and caught the chimney alight too!
